#ff00ff;\"><strong>MAGENTA<\/strong><\/span> has some unique and mysterious properties. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">In 1859 the colour <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">MAGENTA<\/span> was named, from the location of a battle in Italy.\u00a0 It was transparent, but fugitive (it would fade).\u00a0 It was also called Solferino.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Don Jusko describes Magenta as being <strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">the color that Nature herslf splits in two: Warm and Cool Magenta<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0 Thanks to Don for these interesting facts about Magenta, as shown on his website <a title=\"Real Color Wheel\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">MAGENTA<\/span> does not show up in the Electro-Magnetic Spectrum, which depicts the visible colours when white light is shone through a prism.\u00a0 The MAGENTA wave is hidden within the violet frequency.\u00a0 However, if a second prism is placed so that its projected bands of coloured light cross those of the first prism, at the point where the red of one spectrum crosses the blue of another, a MAGENTA patch can be seen.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>MAGENTA<\/strong><\/span> is a psychological colour, produced in your mind when the eye receives blue and red light in the same area.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">The EM wavelengths of colour are in a line, and so they never overlap to reveal the hidden colour <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>MAGENTA<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">In an oil slick, the prism is distorted, and the <span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>MAGENTA<\/strong><\/span> colour becomes visible.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\"><strong>MAGENTA<\/strong><\/span> can be seen with the naked eye at the edges of the red and violet bands of a rainbow.<a \/><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\">The Evolution of Colour<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">The &#8216;Sleeping Prophet&#8217;, Edgar Cayce, wrote in his essay <em>AURAS: An Essay on the Meaning of Colour<\/em> that our eyes seem to be gradually gaining in power, and imagined an evolutionary step for the future of mankind when everybody would be able to see auras:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #003300;\">&#8220;Where do colours come from, and what makes them shift and change?\u00a0 Well, color seems to be a characteristic of the vibration of matter, and our souls seem to reflect it in this three-dimensional world through atomic patterns.\u00a0 We are patterns, and we project colors, which are there for those who can see them.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #003300;\"> In his remarkable book, <em>Pain, Sex, and Time<\/em>, Gerald Heard, speaking of the evidence for the evolution of consciousness, points out that our ability to see colours is expanding.\u00a0 The easiest color to see, as you know, is red.\u00a0 At that end of the spectrum the waves of light are long.\u00a0 At the other end, where the blue runs into indigo and violet, the waves are short.\u00a0 According to Heard, who is a reliable scholar, our ability to see blue is very recent.\u00a0 Natives who live on the Blue Nile in Africa do not know it by that name.\u00a0 Their title for it, when translated, means brown.\u00a0 Homer, all through the Iliad and Odyssey, describes the Mediterranean as the &#8220;wine-dark sea.&#8221;\u00a0 Mr. Heard says that apparently Homer caught &#8220;the slight tinge of red in the purple of the Mediterranean,&#8221; but did not see its predominant blue.\u00a0 Aristotle, moreover, said that the rainbow had only three colours: red, yellow and green.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_493\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a title=\"All Things to God, by Nicola text-decoration: underline;\">Magenta in Dreams<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Nicola dreamed that from the end of the year 2012, people would be able to see more, including colours that we currently do not see.\u00a0 Please click on the painting for a fuller description of the dream.\u00a0 In a subsequent meditation Harry was shown that in the future there will be eight visible rays of light instead of our present seven.\u00a0 Magenta will be the eighth ray.\u00a0 It is a colour with a feninine frequency, and a frequency of\u00a0 Love and healing.\u00a0\u00a0 Magenta is the complementary colour of Green and is thus associated with the Planet Venus, and the Empress card of the Tarot.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\"><strong>&#8220;What will it mean to us if we make this next evolutionary step?\u00a0 Well, it will mean that we can see auras.\u00a0 What will this mean?\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\"><strong>A friend&#8217;s\u00a0 example:\u00a0 Whenever a person, whether it be a stranger, an intimate friend, or a member of my family, decides to tell me an untruth, or to evade a direct and frank answer to a question of mine, I see a streak of lemony green shoot through his aura, horizontally, just over his head.\u00a0 I call it gas-light green,\u00a0 and I have never known it to fail as an indication of evasion and falsification.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\"><strong>Imagine what that will mean \u2013 everyone able to see when you plan to tell them a lie, even a little white one.\u00a0 We will all have to be frank, for there will no longer be such a thing as deceit!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span> (Cayce; Auras; p.8; A.R.E. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff00ff;\">Magenta in the Judgement Key <\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">When we began painting the Golden Dawn Temple Deck, we were following the traditional Golden Dawn colour system, and accordingly painted and bordered the Judgement Key with the traditional colour assignment of Glowing Scarlet-orange (Regardie) or Red (Cicero).\u00a0 Judgement is titled <em>The Spirit of the Primal Fire<\/em> and is attributed withthe Hebrew letter <em>Shin<\/em>, which is one of the three Mother letters, all of which denote that it should take on the primary root colour of Red.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_907\" style=\"width: 209px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement-for-web-rgb-copy-small2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-907\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-907\" title=\"original judgement \" src=\"http:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement-for-web-rgb-copy-small2-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"Original Judgement Colours\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement-for-web-rgb-copy-small2-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement-for-web-rgb-copy-small2.jpg 283w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-907\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Original Judgement colours<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">At a later stage of the project, we discovered that we were to replace the outdated primary Red with the modern true primary Magenta.\u00a0 It is not an easy decision to make drastic changes to an established tradition, and at the time is was radical enough just to insist that Geburah be painted in Magenta, at least within our own workings. \u00a0 It was not until we were ready to go to print with the full Tarot Deck that it was confirmed in meditation that we should make this change to the Judgement Key.\u00a0 The Meditation Set of the Major Arcana had already been published almost two years prior to this, but it was important that we made the changes in the publishing of the full Tarot Deck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_908\" style=\"width: 209px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-908\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-908\" title=\"judgement\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"Updated Judgement Colours\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/www.wendricharthouse.com\/study\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/judgement.jpg 317w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-908\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Updated Judgement colours<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">It is most interesting to note that the youth in the lower central area of the image, arising from the tomb, is Arel, or Harpocrates (Horus the Child).\u00a0 Given our experience with the Horus\/Geburah painting, the updating of colour in the Judgement card from Red to Magenta is a significant synchronism.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The energy of Magenta helps to bring into focus the kundalini influence within the card as Spiritual Fire, rather than Red which holds the energy of earthly fire.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; MAGENTA has some unique and mysterious properties.
